Dishly brings you the customer: 10%. You bring the customer through your direct Dishly link: 5%.
Pro is an optional paid upgrade at $24.99/month — never required. Paid by customers, not creators: a service fee of $0.99 for their first 7 days after their first completed order, then 5%, always between $1.50 and $4.99.
| On a $100 order | You keep | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Dishly — first 14 days | $100 | 0% |
| Dishly — direct link orders | $95 | Only 5% |
| Dishly — marketplace orders When customers discover you in the marketplace | $90 | Only 10% |

Example before taxes. Tips are extra and stay 100% yours on Dishly. DoorDash's published merchant tiers are Basic 15%, Plus 25%, and Premier 30% for delivery, and 6% for pickup orders, as shown on DoorDash's merchant signup page (checked October 25, 2026). Uber Eats' published delivery tiers are Lite 20%, Plus 25%, and Premium 30% — Plus orders from Uber One members are charged 30% — with pickup at 7% with validated in-store pricing (10% without) and self-delivery at 15%, per Uber Eats' merchant pricing (effective March 11, 2026; checked October 2026). Not every restaurant pays the highest rate — competitor rates, plans, and fees vary by market and plan and can change.
Pick an order size below — it's an example you choose, not a typical order — and see the math, before tips, which stay 100% yours. For your first 14 days, you keep 100% of every order.
On this example order, Dishly keeps you $30 more than the top 30% delivery tiers at DoorDash (Premier) and Uber Eats (Premium) at the marketplace rate (only 10%) — or $37.50 more on your direct link (only 5%).

Requirements depend on what you sell, how you prepare it and where you operate. Dishly can help explain what may apply before you complete your creator setup.
Best for: shelf-stable baked goods and approved low-risk foods made at home.
Class A is registration-based; Class B needs a county permit and inspection. Fastest lane for most home bakers.
Best for: hot meals cooked at home and sold the same day, under San Diego County's MEHKO program.
A MEHKO must hold a health permit from the County Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ), Food & Housing Division, before operating, with Standard Operating Procedures and a food safety manager certificate. MEHKO orders are fulfilled by pickup or by the MEHKO's own employee or household member delivery only — no third-party delivery.
Best for: food trucks, hot-food market vendors, commissary meal prep, and restaurants.
Bring the county health permit you have — or are closest to — and we match your listing to it.
Apply with "Not sure what I need yet" — we'll map it with you on the follow-up.
Dishly is registered with the California Department of Public Health as an Internet Food Service Intermediary, as applicable to its platform operations. Your permits and verifications show right on your Dishly profile, so customers can see you're legit before they order.
No. Applying starts a conversation and gets you a free demo of your Dishly page. You decide after you see it. Applying does not guarantee approval or a listing. No monthly fee on the Standard plan.
0% creator commission for your first 14 days. After that: only 10% commission on orders where customers discover you in the Dishly marketplace, and only 5% commission on orders placed through your personal Dishly direct link. No monthly fee on the Standard plan. Pro is an optional paid upgrade at $24.99/month, never required. You keep 100% of tips, and 100% of the delivery fees you set and charge. Payouts are made through Stripe to your linked bank account; payout summaries are sent by email after every order. Customers pay their own service fee — $0.99 for their first 7 days after their first completed order, then 5%, always between $1.50 and $4.99 — and that fee is paid by customers, not creators.
Dishly Pro is an optional paid upgrade at $24.99/month — never required. Standard has a $0 monthly fee, so you can start free on Standard and upgrade to Pro later only if you want to. As shown on the Plan, Trial & Fees screen in the app, Pro is for creators who want more listings and deeper analytics: 25 active listings (Standard includes 10 active listings), advanced analytics — business & listing views, view-to-order rate, and most-viewed dishes — new vs. returning customers, best days & times, and category performance, cart insights showing dishes sitting in customers' carts right now, and per-dish analytics + CSV export.
No — apply now and pick the permit status closest to yours; "Not sure what I need yet" is a fine answer. Before your food can be listed, you will need the permits your business type and county require, and Dishly will help you understand what applies. Each creator is solely responsible for holding those permits. Dishly's review is a document review only — it does not replace or grant a county permit, and final permit decisions rest with the County of San Diego DEHQ.
Yes. Creators who offer delivery set their own delivery times and keep 100% of the delivery fees they set and charge; customers can accept, or choose pickup instead. Pickup-only is fine too. One exception: MEHKO orders are fulfilled by pickup or by the MEHKO's own employee or household member delivery only — third-party delivery is not permitted for MEHKO food.
Keep your Instagram — put your Dishly link in your bio. Customers order and pay in the browser (no app download needed on link orders), you stop chasing Venmo screenshots and "is this still available?" DMs, and those link orders cost you only 5%.
Yes — that's your direct Dishly link. Share it in your bio, by text, or on QR codes. Customers open your storefront in their browser, and orders through your link are only 5%.
Not on your link — customers can open your storefront and order in their browser without downloading anything. The Dishly app (iOS and Android) is there for customers who want marketplace discovery, order tracking, and messaging.
Payouts are made through Stripe to your linked bank account, and a payout summary is emailed after every order. You connect payouts after your application is reviewed — no bank information is collected in this application.
